FAQ About Accessing Materials

How long do I have access to the DDA?

This varies by class and what materials are adopted. Most of the time, you will only have access for one semester, but in some cases, you may have access longer than 16 weeks.

If you have a VitalSource e-book that last longer then one semester, make sure you follow these steps to keep access.

Why am I sometimes able to access assignments on a publisher site, and other times, I am prompted to buy an access code?

Sometimes trying to open an assignment on a publisher's site from the Canvas Calendar, To-Do, or Coming Up tools open a page to buy an access code. Please try opening the assignment through the Modules, Assignment, and/or publisher link to overcome this issue.  You may want notify your instructor of this problem.

Please see the Direct Digital Access FAQ page for any other questions you may have.
