How to do I set up VitalSource in my Canvas course?

You need to make sure the "VitalSource Course Materials" link is available for students. If this link is not on visible on your Canvas course menu, students will not be able to access the materials.

Do I need to set-up courseware before I use it? How do I do that?

Yes, if you are using courseware, you will need to set-up your class site through the publisher. If you need assistance with this, please contact your publisher rep directly.

I am using courseware with an access code. How do my students access the materials?

If your selected courseware has an access code, students MUST first access the materials through the "VitalSource Course Materials" link in your Canvas page. This link holds the access code and publisher link to the courseware.

One of my students is having trouble access the materials. Who should they contact?

If one of your students is having trouble, please refer them to the help links located here. If multiple students in your class are having trouble, please reach out to the bookstore.
