Payment Information

What forms of payment do you accept?

IN-STORE: The bookstore accepts cash, checks (with a student ID number), debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, ApplePay). Students may use financial aid at the beginning each semester. SFA can only be used for in-store purchases. 

ONLINE: Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover) are the only form of payment accepted.

Is it safe to use my credit card and other personal information on the website?

Yes. All your login and billing information is sent via encrypted SSL. The bookstore will never sell or distribute any of your account information to third parties.

What is considered Financial Aid?

Financial aid may include Pell grants, scholarships, awards, loans. Students can check their financial aid balance by logging onto their myBlackhawk.

What can I purchase with my Financial Aid?

You may charge books, supplies and clothing in the college stores after verification of awards has been posted to your account and the information is sent to the stores. Financial aid cannot be used to purchase food or drink in the bookstore.

Why is the amount of my web order different than when I placed the order?

We substitute new or used titles based on availability, therefore your order may differ from the amount you are expecting. We will send you an email with your correct charges when we process your order.

When is the payment applied to my credit card?

- The website does not deduct anything from your account at the time your order is placed.

- Your credit card will not be charged until the books are actually pulled and processed.

- The total amount on the confirmation receipt may change due to the availability of used books.

- You will receive an email with the correctly billed amount.

- Your bill will be reflected when your order is shipped.

How much is shipping?

Hawk's Hub has a flat shipping rate of $19.99 per order.

 Can I order online and pick up in-store?

No, all online orders from the QC bookstore are for shipment only.

How do I know what size to order?

How much is shipping?

All Lands' End items have a flat shipping rate of $9.99 per order.

What else should I know about Lands' End items?

Since these items are custom made, the bookstore will not accept any returns or exchanges. These items are also excluded from any promotion or discount.
